![]() ![]() ![]() ❝ A light read filled with positive messages.❞ Also I do hope Asumi and Takeshi break up. I hope they don't drag out the jealousy plot too long. Still waiting for that to be acknowledged.) She really has made a lot of growth as a person. I really liked the scene with Megumi and Rin in Paris and seeing how much Rin admires Megumi, while in turn, Megumi acknowledging that she is jealous and is projecting her insecurities on Rin. Yamato and Mei just need to talking clearly to each other and address their insecurities and how their dynamic is inevitably changing now that they have graduated and are working towards their respective careers.Īlso, I love that Aiko and her boyfriend are considered the most assured and stable relationship of the bunch. Honestly, I hope she dates that guy who is also trying to be a preschool teacher and plays piano. I always thought that Asumi could do better, so if they break up, I'm not gonna be sad. I have never like Takeshi and at best tolerated or ignored him. That struggle is real and it can be jarring how quickly things changes, so it was interesting watching the characters go through that. I really like that the series is showing how your relationship changes when you go for high school (where you see each other everyday and are always in the same space) to college and the real world (where its a lot harder and requires more effort to maintain your old relationships while starting to make new ones). ![]() ![]() The running thread throughout is the author's search for his own perfect pickup technique and for a sense of satisfaction in life. The book features a number of theories or "schools" of seduction. Although "men will deny it" and "women will doubt it," Strauss declares this to be a true story and asks that the reader blame not the players but The Game. ![]() The symbolism is intentional, as the book chapters are based on specific techniques and "moves" that form a "bible" of the art of seduction-how to "select a target," "approach and open," remove "the obstacles," "create an emotional connection," and so forth. The book has a thin, leather-like cover, gold lettering, and a bound-in ribbon bookmark, much like a Bible. The book The Game is another of Neil Strauss's biographies, but this book is partly autobiographical and a brief history of a group of self-styled "pickup artists"-people who essentially make a full-time career of trying to achieve multiple sexual conquests. ![]() ![]() ![]() Revisiting the earliest days of the Trump presidency, Rage reveals how Secretary of Defense James Mattis, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats struggled to keep the country safe as the president dismantled any semblance of collegial national security decision making. I’m not sure whether that stems from the ingrained habit of poring over details like this in my day job, or whether it’s just my personality! Redeeming Love, written by Francine Rivers, is a book based on the biblical story of Hosea. I somehow managed to have the book in my hand with a tiny bit of curiosity – although I wasn’t about to admit it. I thought to myself, I’m not reading a book that has to do with love. On occasion she would rave about the book and recommend that I read it. I must say that I have never been one to enjoy romance novels. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting.
